I’ve always loved designing and building useful, meaningful things. After a long career helping Fortune 500 companies shape thoughtful user experiences I found myself wondering what my next chapter might look like.
How could I combine my love of woodworking, music, playing drums, and a constant curiosity to learn new things into something new?
Then came the spark — a workshop made for exploring, discovering, and playing with old and new woodworking techniques.
That spark didn’t just start a workshop... it gave a name to a way of thinking.

Inspired by a child’s imagination, the word o-d-doh is a reminder that the best ideas often arrive before we overthink them.
It’s the sound of curiosity at work, right before creativity takes over. Playful by design, it’s meant to be spoken, shared, and smiled at.

hands-on by design
Precision when it matters. Hands-on where it counts.
At the o-d-doh workshop, ideas turn into hand-drawn sketches (or a digital design). Then the craft and the play begin. Wood is carefully selected, cut, and milled into its initial rough form. CNC machining is used when needed to quickly explore design ideas and to cut precise shapes with consistent details.
From there, the work slows down. Each piece is assembled, sanded, tuned, and finished by hand. This balance of digital precision and hands-on craftsmanship lets us focus on fit, feel, sound, and durability. These are the things you notice when you play or live with an object over time.
Modern tools help us work accurately. Human hands make the final call.

Handcrafted Cajons
Made from select Baltic Birch and designed to be played, these cajons start as simple boxes and come alive with rhythm and sound. Small in size and big on feel, they turn any moment into a portable percussion party.
Designed to add warmth, personality, and a touch of fun, these first wooden signs and home decor pieces bring a playful spark to everyday spaces.
